Building Senior Team Capacity to Deliver a New Strategy

With a heritage dating back more than thirty years, Williams Medical Supplies Ltd is the largest supplier of medical disposables, equipment, pharmaceuticals and medical services to UK primary care.

With a new MD, and an exciting new strategy in place, the business recognised the important role this team would play in achieving the ambitions of the business and invested in building the capacity of the SLT as individuals and as a collective.

What we did:

We provided both Executive Coaching to individual leaders and Team Coaching to the Senior Leadership Team, creating an integrated development approach focused on leadership effectiveness, aligned priorities and organisational impact.

The Impact:

• Increase in ratings across all 10 features of a high-performing team (Creating the Team Edge framework)
• All individual leader ratings against the coaching outcomes agreed with their line manager increased by an average of 25%
• Employee engagement survey results across the business improved during this period
• Recognised through a HR in Wales Award for Individual Impact
